A former General Manager of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma has congratulated the management, technical crew and players of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, over its promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Maigidansanma said this in an interview with the newsmen during a short visit to Ilorin on Tuesday.

He commended the fighting spirit of the players and their resilient to get the job done.

The former Kwara United General Manager, also showered praises on the team’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, for ensuring Premier League football returned to Ilorin.

“I must commend the management of ABS for gaining promotion to the elite league because that is not an easy task.

“The fans need to be commended too for conducting themselves peacefully through the season.

“I must commended the Proprietor of the club, Dr. Bukola Saraki, for creating a platform for the younger ones to achieve their dream” Maigidansanma said.

He congratulated the chairman of Kwara United, Prince Oladimeji Thompson, over his appointment into the Nigeria National League (NNL), board.

Maigidansanma urged the management of Kwara United to emulate ABS in the upcoming season by joining the Saraki Boys in the Premier League.

He wished both ABS and Kwara United the best in the upcoming league season.
